英语口语大赛决赛选手代表发言稿：
Good evening , Honorable judges and guests,
First,It’s my great honor to participate in this competition and I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the committee for giving me the chance as the representative of all the excellent contestants to speak out my own understanding of the contest.
This competition, which is held in the celebration of the 17-year anniversary of the friendly relationship between Western Australia and Zhejiang Province, has , in my opinion, come to a successful end. Apparently , it is far more than an English Talent Competition , but a giant hand , pushing the two sides to enter a new period of development in cooperation. By sending the 25 top students as cultural ambassadors to Western Australia , Zhejiang’s reputation is sure to be enhanced and friendship between young generations will be set up.
As a contestant,I’m benefiting from this precious experience. Firstly, it provides me with a chance to go deep into the history , culture , as well as the breathtaking beauty of Western Australia, a land most of us used to ignore. Secondly, it enables us to gain more confidence in ourselves, yet at the same time, to figure out our weak points compared with other competitors. Thirdly, through the competition, I’ve developed a large circle of friends , who at least have one thing in common with me : the passion for English. We are friends rather than rivals , encouraging each other to show our best and sharing our experiences in learning English.
At last , what I want to say is that , we’ve come here , we’ve showed ourselves , we’ve done our best , there’s nothing to regret , there’re still chances of million lying in front of us. So hopefully our performance tonight would leave all of you a wonderful and profounding memory.
