Hello, everybody! I’m so glad that I’ve got this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
My name is Zheng Ting. You can call me Johnny, my English name because I really like it! I’m sixteen, going on seventeen in October. It is very proud of me that I’m from Wenzhou Middle School, which is the best senior school in the city. And luckily, I’m the only one of the four students who is just in Grade 10.
I was so lucky to have born in a very good family. My mother is a senior doctor and a vice president of a hospital which belongs to the government. My father is a chief engineer, senior engineer and also a vice president. He works for the government, too. All the members of my family communicate with each other quite well, so when I face difficulties, my family usually encourages me to get over them.
With the help of my family, as well as my hard work, I became quite outstanding. I received the title of the top 10 students of my junior school when I graduated. I have got the first prize of the Spoken English Contest during the art festival in the school. I am pretty good at singing, dancing and playing the piano. I’ve already reached the sixth degree in piano. And I’ve got the third prize of Singing Contest in the whole nation. I took a test which provides you to go to America for a year of study and was accepted. Besides, they offer me 2000 US dollars of scholarship.
